Pet Lodging & Daycare

There is no place like home. However, BHPH can provide your pet with the next best place! Ease your concerns about leaving your pet behind while you’re away, or when you’re working long hours: Let us take care of them!

At Bull’s Head Pet Hospital we are pleased to be able to offer our clients/patients Daycare & Pet Lodging in our fully functional kennel. We also offer Medical Pet Lodging with specialized nurse care in our hospital area. This is for pets with “special needs” as determined by the doctor (e.g diabetes, seizures) and for pets under three months of age.

We provide amenities such as clean bedding, Kuranda beds, and food and water bowls, but feel free to bring your own if you think this will improve your pets’ stay with us! You can also bring toys and other personal items that are washable & labeled.

Our experienced Pet Lodging staff will regularly check on all pets in our boarding area, and allow them ample time outside in our safe, secure play yard – weather permitting. They will administer any needed medication and follow your specified feeding regimen. Alternately, we can provide high quality Sierra Natural Holistic Premium Chicken dry dog food for no extra charge (although we find that eating their own food tends to be better for most pets).

And, rest assured that you have the added benefit of knowing that one of our veterinarians will promptly contact you and begin treatment if your pet gets sick during his or her stay.

*PLEASE NOTE – To keep all our patients as healthy as possible, we require pets that are boarding with us to have current rabies and distemper vaccinations, along with other species-specific vaccinations. We also require that most vaccinations be given at least 2 weeks before boarding.
